The spirit of people's governance was brought to life in a vibrant and meaningful event held in Jamini village of Jainath Mandal, Adilabad District, with the initiation of the Six Guarantee Scheme by Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Women and Child Welfare Minister, Sitakka garu. This significant program symbolized the government’s commitment to bringing services closer to the people and fostering development at the grassroots level.

Villagers thronged the venue to submit their applications, marking their participation in the government’s efforts to ensure inclusive and accessible governance. Reflecting a hands-on approach, officials actively went to the public, collecting documents directly from the applicants, further emphasizing the government’s resolve to serve the people effectively.

A special moment during the program was the felicitation of Chandrakala garu, the village headmaster, who had the distinction of submitting the first application under the scheme. Minister Sitakka garu honored her with a saluva (shawl), recognizing her initiative and leadership within the community. This act of appreciation highlighted the role of educators and local leaders in driving community development.

The event also witnessed the active participation of Adilabad Assembly In-charge, Kandi Srinivasa Reddy garu, who expressed his support for the program and reiterated the Congress Party’s commitment to people-centric governance. In his address, Kandi Srinivasa Reddy garu praised the efforts of Minister Sitakka garu and the dedicated officials for bringing the scheme to fruition, ensuring that the benefits reach every corner of the community.

The program was graced by the presence of the village Sarpanch, MPTC (Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency) members, ZPTC (Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency) representatives, and several officers, leaders, and activists, all of whom contributed to the success of the initiative. Their collective efforts underscored the importance of collaboration between government officials, local representatives, and the community in achieving developmental goals.

The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and optimism as villagers, young and old, engaged with officials and leaders, submitting their applications and voicing their aspirations. The event not only marked the launch of an important scheme but also served as a testament to the government’s dedication to fostering rural development and empowering the underserved sections of society.
