Fury Seeks Redemption Against Usyk in High-Stakes Heavyweight Rematch

The Gypsy King will have the opportunity to seek retribution against the Ukrainian on Saturday night, following his defeat in their initial encounter, which ended in a split decision in May. On that occasion in Riyadh, Usyk proclaimed himself the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era. "He chose to confront (Deontay) Wilder directly, despite Wilder being a formidable puncher, and he leaned on him to physically dominate him, which he successfully accomplished in their matches," Arum stated. Had Joshua triumphed over Daniel Dubois in September, and Fury defeated Usyk, a clash for the undisputed title could have materialized. Although that scenario is no longer feasible, many fans still aspire for a confrontation between the two before they retire.

Arum remarked, "Should Tyson Fury emerge victorious in the second fight against Usyk, there will be a strong demand for a trilogy. However, fulfilling that demand will largely depend on the financial resources of the kingdom, given the substantial payments received for the first two bouts."
