The Brahmotsavam of Lakshmi Narayana Swamy, who resides in Jainath, is being celebrated with great pomp. Adilabad Congress Party Assembly In-charge Kandi Srinivasa Reddy was the chief guest at the Rathotsava program held on Wednesday evening.

The temple committee members, villagers and local Congress cadres gave him a grand welcome. He walked in front of the chariot, greeting the devotees. Amidst the clapping of dappa chappals, bhajans, kolatas and swordplays by the devotees, the Swamy paraded through the main streets of the village on a beautifully decorated chariot. Devotees walked along the chariot chanting the name of Govinda along the way. Devotees showered flowers on the Lord from the terraces on the streets.

This Rath Yatra was a sight to behold with a large number of devotees and villagers present. Kandi Srinivasa Reddy graced the event with enthusiasm. Jainath Agricultural Market Committee Chairman Alluri Ashok Reddy, Vice Chairman Vilas, Directors, Temple Committee Chairman Rukesh Reddy, members of the ruling class, local Congress leaders, activists, villagers and devotees from various villages participated in this program.
